While heading towards Nashville, Tennessee, where I am right now (stay tuned for some exciting blogs in the next few days!) we decided to stop into Metropolis, Illinois when we saw a sign advertising a “large Superman statue.”  Kind of an odd thing to see an advertisement for, but just the type of thing that makes for a fun stop!  If you’re a big Superman fan, or even a slight fan, make the time to stop by sometime.  It’s a really cool place.  I didn’t get a chance to check out the museum today, but the outside alone is enough to make it worthwhile…
