I took this shot back in May 2009 in one of my favorite places period, HersheyPark in Hershey, PA! Always love to hit HersheyPark each year as early in the Spring as possible, and usually get Season Passes!

First 24 Hours of 2012 OUP Photography Tour… FROM THE ROAD!
I’m just sitting in the passenger seat as my girlfriend is driving us from Illinois towards St. Louis, Missouri. Sorry it took so long to get my first update posted, but so far this tour has been fun, yet EXTREMELY tiring. In the past 24 hours I’ve only got about 1-2 hours of sleep. Hoping that will change this evening in a few hours when we get to a rest stop. We spent last night at a rest stop as well, but had to be up extremely early this morning, and for some reason I just couldn’t really fall asleep.
Last night we slept at a rest stop near Upper Sandusky, Ohio, and tonight we’re shooting for somewhere in Missouri, but on the road, you just never know. Tomorrow we’ll be attending WWE’s Raw 1,000th Episode in St. Louis, and we have an awesome hotel, so I am expecting to get some awesome content all day tomorrow in St. Louis.
Today we hit Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois, just outside of Chicago. I am not sure if I am just spoiled with HersheyPark or what, and don’t get me wrong I had a blast, but it just wasn’t the same. I found the employees not to be very nice or helpful, the park to be overall in not-so-great shape, and the list goes on… But we did have a blast! (for the most part….)
I’m going to leave you with some of my favorite photographs from today and yesterday…. I’ll check back in as soon as possible
Don’t forget that I’ve been streaming LIVE from the road over at http://www.ounitproductions.com … I just may pop on LIVE tonight briefly after posting this blog
Before letting you go, I just want to briefly mention this X-Flight Rollercoaster at Six Flags Great America, as you see pictured above. I enjoyed it, would love to ride it again someday, but it wasn’t able to “live up to the hype” for me, and make my top few Rollercoasters. After riding this today, my “Top Five” list, which I have rode, would have to be as follows:
1) SkyRush – HersheyPark
2) Intimidator 305 – King’s Dominion
3) Possessed – Dorney Park
4) X-Flight – Six Flags Great America
5) Fahrenheit – HersheyPark
Just my opinions at the time of writing this, hopefully one day soon I’ll have an updated list
Looking forward to RAW 1,000 tomorrow night, picking the backroads of Missouri, Kentucky, and Tennessee Tuesday and Wednesday, the Under the Influence Tour with Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller on Thursday, picking Virginia, etc.. on Friday, and Rehoboth Beach and Dover, Delaware next weekend….. EXCITING TIMES AHEAD! STAY TUNED to the 2012 Summer OUP Photography Tour!!!
Been Busy ON-THE-ROAD!: Favorite Shot of Recent Trip to Hershey!
Finally got to see the completed SkyRush in the park this past weekend! In case you’re not familiar with HersheyPark, SkyRush is their 12th RollerCoaster which will be opening THIS May…. exciting!
I’ll be heading to Ocean City, MD, Dover, DE, and Rehoboth Beach, DE again this coming weekend…. be on the lookout for some OUP Photography Tour updates… and join OUnitProductions.com on Facebook!
Next Pre-2011 Tour Stop… Hershey’s Christmas Candylane!
Keeping in the “tradition” of providing content for the OUP Photography Tour blog, I have yet another stop planned before the 2011 OUP Photography Tour kicks off on January 13th. On December 11th I’ll be headed to HersheyPark’s Christmas Candylane! I’ve been to all of HersheyPark’s Seasonal Events this year, and this marks the last one. Check back that weekend for an update!
Day 2… Visiting Hershey, PA Again… Plus Denver, PA!
Just got home from a VERY long, yet VERY fun weekend of traveling pretty much across the State of Pennsylvania. We got up early today, well I got up before my girlfriend, around 6 AM. After enjoying the hotel’s AMAZING breakfast (which included eggs, hash browns, toast, ham, fresh fruit, pretty much EVERYTHING you can imagine) and checking out, it was back on the road!
We decided to head back to Middletown, PA and their “Saturday’s Market.” On Sunday it’s still enjoyable, just MANY less vendors and the indoor market isn’t open. I tend to like the outdoor markets better anyway, but by the time we got there today there really weren’t many deals going on. After being slightly disappointed, I decided to head to another Flea Market I found, this one being about an hour or so away in Denver, Pennsylvania. We didn’t get there until around Noon, but let me tell you, this one DID NOT disappoint! TONS AND TONS of vendors, even though a lot were packing up and leaving when we got there. I plan on going back really soon and making sure to get there early in the AM (we’re talking 5 or 6 AM for sure).
It’s called “Renninger’s Antique & Collector’s Market” and it’s something to check out if you are in to antiques, etc… like I am. In fact, the entire town of Denver, PA has many flea markets and antique shops. I pretty much just scratched the surface there. I honestly cannot wait to go back!
After leaving Denver, PA it was back towards Hershey! Once we got there we actually got to explore a new place to eat, this one being “Fenicci’s of Hershey,” right on Chocolate Avenue. Great atmosphere, alright service, great food. I enjoyed my Fried Haddock meal, although both the Tartar Sauce and the Cole Slaw were, well, pretty much NASTY. I am going to be honest here. Everything else though… on point. I can’t say it was the “best meal I ever had,” but I can say that I would go back. Take that for what you will…..
Afterwards, OF COURSE, it was off to enjoy our last day at HersheyPark and its “HersheyPark In The Dark” activities! Another very fun afternoon/night for sure. Overall it was a very fun “business/pleasure” weekend. I feel that I found some great items on my picking adventures, and had a BLAST traveling around, exploring, at our hotel, the park, and everywhere else we stopped. We will be back in Hershey in December for “Christmas Candylane” and who knows, maybe a surprise stop here or there before year’s end leading up until Florida in January 2011 when the 2011 OUP Photography Tour actually kicks off.
I love exploring/traveling and plan to do so more and more as new business opportunites begin presenting themself, etc…. For now I’ll leave you with a few more shots of today’s fun at HersheyPark! Enjoy, and check back soon, there just may be some surprises/stops, etc… in store!
OUP Photography Tour Previews 2011 Tour With Stops In Middletown, PA, Dover, PA, Hershey, PA, and Harrisburg, PA!

After waking up early this morning around 6 AM, doing some work in the office, getting a shower, and getting ready… it was on the road! We stopped at one of our local Sheetz gas stations, got some gas and some coffee/food, etc.. Afterwards I hit the Post Office, the bank, then was finally, actually, on my way!
A short two hours or so later we arrived in Middletown, Pennsylvania and it’s “Saturday’s Market,” a local Flea Market/Farmer’s Market/little-bit-of-everything stop. It was really cool there. I was able to get some cool pieces which I am more than sure I can turn a profit on. There were a lot of people there, and next time I will try to get there earlier in the morning (on Saturday they run 4 AM until 4 PM, we got there around 10:30 or so). Nonetheless I found some great finds! I will post a video in a few days on OUnitProductions.com talking about/showing them.
After scoring some hot-ticket items and getting some great information/pricing ideas, etc.. it was off to Dover, Pennsylvania and their Newberrytown Peddler’s Market. It wasn’t as good as the first, with many less vendors, and items in general. I was able to find a few things, and we had an AMAZING lunch at this place called “Vicki’s Place.” Their selling slogan is “Home of the Baldhiller Hot Dog,” and let me tell you, this thing was AMAZING. A hotdog with BBQ sauce, pulled pork, and onions. Delicious! My girlfriend got a steak sandwich, which she said was also pretty good. Great little find!
After the great lunch and looking around a little bit more trying to find some diamonds in the rough, it was off to our hotel, which is pretty amazing. It’s the Country Inn & Suites here in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, which I am writing this from right now. They have, what looks to be, a great breakfast, pretty amazing rooms, an indoor pool & hot tub, and some other cool features. After posting this we might be going down to take a swim actually before it closes for the night.
To end the night, OF COURSE, we hit HERSHEYPARK IN THE DARK! Had an awesome time there, ate some good food, played some games, and explored their “Creatures of the Night” event at ZooAmerica. We’ll be heading back tomorrow to have some more fun!
Awesome day so far! Ready for an awesome night, then getting up around 7 AM for the hotel’s breakfast. Afterwards I’m looking to go out picking at another flea market or possibly some yard sales. We shall see, I plan on doing some research later this evening. Then tomorrow afternoon it’s back to HERSHEYPARK IN THE DARK! STAY TUNED FOR MORE UPDATES!
2011 OUP Photography Tour!
It’s August 14th, and as promised, I am more than happy to announce the 2011 OUP Photography Tour!
In 2010 the Tour was introduced, and quickly became a passion of mine. I love travel, photography, blogging, the Internet, and business… what could work better? This coming year, I promise, is going to be huge. I will be kicking off the year with a bang in January, and be heading to Miami, Florida as well as Orlando, Florida and DisneyWorld! I am going to DisneyWorld! What could be a bigger and better way to kick off the year and Tour than that?!?
We will also be heading to Sandusky, Ohio and its famed Cedar Point amusement park, HersheyPark (which will be a scheduled Tour stop every year at least once!), and back to Outer Banks, North Carolina! A huge aspect to keep in mind for this year’s Tour is that surprise stops will be included throughout the year, so you never really know where else we may go. To find out, make sure you check out this Blog often!
For example, and great news if you love Hershey as much as me, we’ll be heading to Hershey at least twice before 2010 ends for their “HersheyPark In The Dark” and “HersheyPark Christmas Candylane” events. Both will have featured updates right here in this Blog! A pre-2010 Tour exclusive preview, if you will… I am also working on sponsorships, partnerships, and other behind-the-scenes details which I am hoping to be able to announce at some point soon. If you are interested in participating in anything of such nature shoot me off an Email!
Thanks guys, looking forward to an exciting year!

2010 OUP Photography Tour “Secret Project”
2010 OUP Photography Tour Ends In Hershey, Pennsylvania!
After a long night of working my “night hustle” as Manager at Papa John’s Pizza, and no sleep, myself, my girlfriend Brandi, her Mother & Sister, and my Mother & Sister headed to Hershey early yesterday morning after getting gas, coffee, etc…
Once we arrived at the park complex we first stopped at the Giant Centre Box Office to purchase tickets for my Mother & Sister to attend last night’s Paramore concert at the Star Pavillion at HersheyPark Stadium. It was a gift for my Sister’s 14th Birthday which was a few months back. Once we purchased their tickets and got settled into the park it was right off to the Boardwalk! It was pretty busy yesterday so we just messed around in the Shore and Intercoastal Waterway (wave pool and lazy river).
Afterwards we walked around the rest of the park, explored ZooAmerica, played some games, and messed around in the Arcade. After a few hours of fun we split ways with my Mother & Sister as they worked their way towards the front of the park and eventually to the concert at the Star Pavillion, which would see them gone for the rest of the night.
Brandi and I, and her Mom & Sister, spent the rest of the night together messing around the park. We all rode Fahrenheit and Great Bear, two of the park’s best Rollercoasters. Her Mom wasn’t too big on either, to say the least. LOL. We ate some good food, and had a blast. We even checked out HersheyPark’s one cafe which serves cups of beer…. at $5.75 a pop!
After an exhausting yet fun day around 10:30 PM we worked our way towards the Chocolate World, took the free ride as we’ve done so many times in the past, and got our free chocolate bar! Perfect ending to a great day! A little bit later we met up with my Mom & Sister, talked about everyone’s day, and eventually headed home after grabbing a quick bite to eat nearby…..
Well guys, that pretty much wraps up the 2010 OUP Photography Tour! Everyone who checked it out, I thank you so, SO much! I really do appreciate it. However, we’re far from done, as the 2011 OUP Photography Tour is right around the corner!
As promised, next Saturday, August 14th, I will be posting the “end-of-2010 OUP Photography Tour secret project” which I’ve been talking about for months. I will also be announcing the 2011 OUP Photography Tour’s Tour Dates!
Thanks again guys!
It’s been a blast! Looking forward to 2011 and beyond!
